This Privacy Policy explains how NOTAGAMA (“NOTAGAMA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit notagama.com, submit the Join form, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with our website and services.

By using this website, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. Information You Provide

When you submit the Join form, we may collect:

  • your name;

  • your consent to this Privacy Policy;
  • your optional consent to receive news and updates;
  • the language version of the website used to submit the form;
  • the date and time of submission.

Submitting the Join form expresses interest in NOTAGAMA. It does not automatically create a user account or provide access to Notagama Studio or Notagama TV.

B. Communications

If you contact us by email or through another communication channel, we may collect your contact details and the contents of your message.

C. Technical Information

When you access the website, limited technical information may be processed automatically, including:

  • IP address;
  • browser and device type;
  • operating system;
  • referring page;
  • requested pages;
  • date and time of access;
  • diagnostic, security, and server log information.

This information may be processed by our website hosting and infrastructure providers to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.

D. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies

The Website uses cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.

Some technologies are used because they are necessary to operate the Website, maintain security, remember your cookie choice, or support basic preferences.

If you select Accept in our cookie notice, we may also load analytics and advertising measurement tools provided by third parties, including Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, and TikTok Pixel. Those tools are not loaded if you select Reject.

For additional detail about categories of technologies, consent, withdrawal, and third-party providers, see Section 15 and our Cookie Policy.

2. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may use personal information to:

  • receive and review Join submissions;
  • understand how people would like to participate in NOTAGAMA;
  • contact you about relevant opportunities, platform access, projects, or important updates;
  • send a confirmation after you submit the Join form;
  • send news and marketing communications when you have separately agreed to receive them;
  • maintain and organize our contact and mailing lists;
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website;
  • understand website traffic, measure marketing performance, and analyze how visitors use the Website when you have accepted the relevant cookies;
  • prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity;
  • diagnose technical problems;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We do not use a Join submission to create an account automatically.

3. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

You will receive marketing emails only when you voluntarily select the separate option to receive NOTAGAMA news and updates.

You may unsubscribe at any time by:

  • using the unsubscribe link included in a marketing email; or
  • contacting us at hello@notagama.com.

Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect service-related messages or the lawfulness of processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.

4. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we process personal information on one or more of the following grounds:

  • Consent — when you agree to receive marketing communications, accept analytics and advertising measurement cookies through our cookie notice, or provide another optional consent.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate and secure the website, review submissions, respond to inquiries, prevent abuse, and develop NOTAGAMA.
  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps — when processing is necessary to respond to a request relating to possible access, participation, or services.
  • Legal obligations — when processing is required by applicable law.
  • Legal claims — when necessary to establish, exercise, or defend our rights.

5. HOW WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may share personal information with service providers that help us operate the website and process submissions, including:

  • Supabase — database and backend infrastructure;
  • Vercel — website hosting, deployment, and server infrastructure;
  • Resend — transactional email delivery;
  • domain, email, security, and technical service providers;
  • analytics and advertising measurement partners, including Google, Meta Platforms, and TikTok, when you have accepted the relevant cookies through our cookie notice (see Section 15);
  • professional advisers, when reasonably necessary.

These providers process information only for the services they provide to us or, where applicable, under their own terms and privacy policies as independent controllers or processors.

We may also disclose information:

  • when required by law, court order, subpoena, or lawful government request;
  • when necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of NOTAGAMA, our users, or others;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you have accepted the analytics and advertising measurement cookies described in Section 15 and our Cookie Policy.

6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

NOTAGAMA and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

  • reviewing and managing Join submissions;
  • communicating with applicants and participants;
  • maintaining mailing preferences and unsubscribe records;
  • protecting the website against abuse;
  • satisfying legal, accounting, security, and recordkeeping requirements.

Join submissions may be retained while NOTAGAMA is being developed and while the information remains relevant to possible participation or communication.

Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to limited records that may be kept to ensure that your preference continues to be respected.

We may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer reasonably needed.

8. DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of your information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent;
  • request a portable copy of certain information;
  • unsubscribe from marketing communications;
  • lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority;
  • receive information about how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed;
  • exercise your rights without unlawful discrimination.

To submit a privacy request, email:

hello@notagama.com

Please include enough information for us to understand and verify your request. We may request additional information when reasonably necessary to confirm your identity and protect your information.

Some rights are subject to legal exceptions. We may retain information when required by law or when necessary for security, fraud prevention, recordkeeping, or legal claims.

10. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY INFORMATION

California residents may have rights under applicable California privacy laws, including rights to know, access, correct, or delete certain personal information and to receive information about its collection, use, and disclosure.

NOTAGAMA does not sell personal information.

When you accept analytics and advertising measurement cookies, certain information may be processed by third-party partners for website analytics, campaign measurement, and related advertising attribution purposes, as described in Section 15.

You may withdraw that consent at any time by selecting Reject in our cookie notice, using Cookie Settings where available, or clearing site data for notagama.com in your browser.

If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required choices or notices.

You may submit a California privacy request by contacting:

hello@notagama.com

11. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The website and Join form are not directed to children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has submitted personal information to us, contact hello@notagama.com so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Users under the age of majority in their jurisdiction should use the website only with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.

12. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The website may contain links to third-party websites or services.

We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of third parties. You should review their privacy policies before providing personal information to them.

13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy as NOTAGAMA develops, new features are introduced, service providers change, or legal requirements evolve.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or by email where appropriate.

14. COOKIES, ANALYTICS, AND ADVERTISING MEASUREMENT

A. Essential Technologies and Preferences

The Website may use cookies, local storage, or similar browser technologies that are necessary for basic operation, security, language preferences, and remembering your cookie choice. These technologies do not require consent through our cookie notice where applicable law treats them as strictly necessary.

B. Cookie Notice and Consent

Where required by applicable law, we display a cookie notice with two choices:

  • Accept — you agree to the analytics and advertising measurement technologies described in this Section and in our Cookie Policy;
  • Reject — those non-essential analytics and advertising measurement scripts are not loaded for that browser.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser (for example, in localStorage) for up to 365 days, after which the notice may appear again.

You may reopen the cookie notice through Cookie Settings where available on the Website.

Other NOTAGAMA web properties, such as notagama.tv, may use a similar consent mechanism and link to legal documents hosted on notagama.com.

C. Analytics and Advertising Tools (After Consent Only)

If you select Accept, we may load third-party tools that help us understand Website traffic and measure whether our advertising brings visitors to NOTAGAMA. These tools may include:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google);
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms);
  • TikTok Pixel (TikTok).

These tools may collect or receive information such as:

  • pages viewed and general navigation on the Website;
  • referring website, campaign source, or similar referral data;
  • browser type, device type, operating system, and language;
  • IP address and approximate location derived from it;
  • date and time of visits;
  • cookie or similar identifiers set by these providers.

We use this information to understand how the Website is used, improve our services, and measure marketing performance. We do not sell personal information.

At this time, we configure these tools for basic page-view and traffic measurement. We do not enable advanced automatic matching of form fields or enhanced behavioral tracking features in these tools.

Data collected through these tools may be processed in the United States or other countries where these providers operate. Each provider acts under its own terms and privacy policy.

D. Withdrawing Consent

You may withdraw consent to analytics and advertising measurement technologies by:

  • selecting Reject in the cookie notice;
  • using Cookie Settings where available;
  • clearing cookies, local storage, or other site data for notagama.com in your browser; or
  • contacting us at hello@notagama.com.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal, but it applies to future use of those technologies in that browser.
